Taking Control of Your Thoughts

Would you like to live the life of your dreams? Would you like to have excellent health? Would you like to be able to travel anywhere in the world you find fascinating? Would you like to have enough money to buy all the things you want and have all your needs looked after? Would you like to have excellent relationships? Would you like to have the freedom to spend every hour of the day doing only what you love to do?

If you answered yes to any or all these questions, I have good news for you; you can have anything and everything that you want. You just must decide that you want it, follow the instructions in these chapters and persist until you get what you want.

The number one thing you must do is to take control of your thoughts. Controlling your thoughts is the most important action that you can take every day for your entire life. So, Rule #1 is: ‘Take Control of Your Thoughts Always’. By taking control of your thoughts now, you will be able to begin to make changes in your thinking habits that will move you into alignment with all your dreams.

What does it mean to be in control of your thoughts mean? It means being aware of what you are thinking and forcing yourself to think the right way.

Once you take control of your thoughts, you will be able to start to improve your life in small steps or giant leaps depending on your programming. If you really have nothing but negativity and struggle in your life, you have some negative conditioning in your thinking habits, and it might take you a little longer to begin to see real change. But, if you continue to discipline yourself to think correctly, you will begin to feel better. As you begin to feel better you will be living with a higher, more positive vibration. And as you live in this higher vibration, you will attract better conditions and circumstances into your life. You will begin to feel confident that you can change your life. You will build momentum.

If you are currently operating at a higher vibration and your life is already positive, you will be able to move into a higher vibration easier. You will be able to make massive changes in your life to propel you to your ideal life, because you are dealing with less negativity and resistance.

No matter what stage of your life or level of vibration that you are in, the information in this book will help you to improve your circumstances. If you start with the first step, you will make progress. Once you become aware of your thoughts, you will learn your thinking habits. Then you will start to spend less time thinking about what you do not want to think about, and you will spend more time replacing your thoughts with things you do want to think about.

Make no mistake about this; you have the power to change your life. In fact, your quality of life is your responsibility and yours alone. You have attracted your current lifestyle because of the thoughts you habitually think. Or to be more accurate, the thoughts that you are in the habit of thinking have created your current programming or mental conditioning, and those habits have attracted to you this life you are living. What you think controls your vibration and you attract what you think about.

The reason I want you to take control of your thoughts is because your thoughts control your feelings and your feelings control your actions. If you will think a thought that makes you feel good, the good feelings will inspire you to act. The actions you take will move you toward your goal. Your mind controls your body. You become what you think about. What you focus on leads you to action and to making progress. When you are thinking about your ideal life and what it feels like to live that life, you are attracting all the things, people and circumstances that will make this ideal life a reality for you soon. You must be persistent in thinking the right way.

You have heard before that each of us has a conscious and a sub-conscious portion of our minds. We think things consciously first, and if we think these things repeatedly, these thoughts become programmed into our sub-conscious minds. You could also say that your repetitious thoughts produce repetitious feelings for you. They put you in a certain mental and physical state.

The sub-conscious mind controls all our bodily functions so that the conscious mind does not have to think about sending blood from the heart to other parts of the body, or to think about digesting your food, etc. Our sub-conscious mind assists us to make things more efficient. We can then free up our conscious thoughts for newer ideas that allow us to grow, to create and to expand. The conscious mind can then work on more important things without having to rethink things that we do repeatedly such as how to brush our teeth or how to drive a car or play an instrument.

Then as we use our conscious minds to concentrate on these new and creative thoughts, with repetition, these thoughts then move into our sub-conscious minds and the subconscious keeps us acting on those thoughts, without us having to think about those things. The sub-conscious accepts certain ideas and actions from the conscious mind. Then it takes over the controls for those things and makes them habits for us. We then can work on the next innovative ideas with our conscious minds. If our thoughts are positive, our quality of life improves to and from a higher level of awareness. If we are not careful, our sub-conscious minds will just as easily accept our negative thoughts, if that is how we continue to think. It will still take control, and you will have negative habits. And if you continue to think negative thoughts, those thoughts will become programmed into your sub-conscious and you will begin to move into a more negative state daily. I think you would prefer to feel good.

So, what we really need to do is to begin thinking better thoughts repeatedly so that we can begin to program our sub-conscious minds in a more positive way. As we do this, we can then change the negative programming to positive programming. And since the law of attraction attracts to us conditions and circumstances that match our sub-conscious programming, we can begin to improve our lifestyle in any way that we want to. The important thing to remember is that the law of attraction works with the ideas that have been programmed into the sub-conscious mind. It does not attract the things you are only thinking in your conscious mind. That is why we must program your subconscious mind with the current ideas you choose by repetition until they are accepted by the subconscious mind. Then the law of attraction attracts ideas, people and circumstances that are in harmony with your new sub-conscious programming.

So, think of yourself having achieved your goal and enjoying your ideal lifestyle. Imagine what that would feel like. Feel these good feelings daily and you will be programming the feeling into your sub-conscious mind.

I have listed one hundred and two excellent books in the back of this book that are all amazing books. Some of these books are specifically helpful in teaching you about your mind. These are all excellent books that go into detail about how the mind operates. I have listed these books under the title of Mind Power. If you want to get all the information you need to understand fully how the mind works, I suggest you read the book that attracts your attention the most when you look over the list. Your intuition is always there to assist you. If you trust it and act, it will work more for you to improve your life. You will pick the right book for you. No matter what book you pick it will have valuable information for you, but likely you will pick the one that feels right for you at the right time.

This book is about getting to the bottom line fast. This information will help you if you follow it. I will not go into detail to explain everything as these authors listed later in this book have already done an excellent job. You may need additional information for certain categories, and you may not. The choice is yours and you will instinctively know what you need. All the books listed are extremely helpful.

To begin to move in the direction of your dream now, I am suggesting that you change your thoughts. This is a simple thing to do, but for some of you it will not be easy. The easiest form of introducing ideas into your sub-conscious and making them stick is by repetition and feeling. If you use repetition and begin thinking your new positive thoughts with good feeling, and do not give up, you will begin to make subtle changes. This is not rocket science as they say, but it is effective. If you want to change your life for the better, you must start now.
